Theme
A four-part series exploring the Four Foundations of Mindfulness (Satipatthāna Sutta). A core framework for deepening practice and enriching teaching.
A unique opportunity to access the heart and roots of these teachings, making this foundational approach available across Europe, while cultivating an inclusive international learning community.
This series has been developed in partnership with The Institut Pleine Conscience (Belgium/France), Itaca Mindfulness (Italy), and MBCT-Spain (Spain).
The series will be offered in English, with simultaneous translation into French, Italian, and Spanish.
Who is it for?
The course is suitable for both new and experienced practitioners, as well as for alumni of mindfulness-based programs and mindfulness-based teachers. In particular, it is highly recommended for mindfulness-based teachers as an opportunity to refine their practice, return to the foundations of mindful awareness and thereby deepen their understanding of the underlying teachings on which MBPs are founded.
Course content
Session 1 – Mindfulness of the Body (Kaya) with Christina Feldman
Exploring the body as the ground of mindfulness: breath, posture, movement, and sensory experience.
A return to embodied presence and the immediacy of lived experience.
Session 2 – Mindfulness of Feeling-Tone (Vedana) with Martine Batchelor
Exploring how experience is felt as pleasant, unpleasant, or neither, and how this shapes reactivity.
A subtle and powerful inquiry into the roots of habit and response.
Session 3 – Mindfulness of Mind States (Citta) with Christoph Köck
Exploring thoughts, moods, emotions, and patterns of wanting or resistance within awareness.
An invitation to meet the changing mind with clarity, steadiness, and care.
Session 4 – Mindfulness of Phenomena (Dhammas) with Bernat Font
Exploring experience through key contemplative patterns, including the hindrances and factors of awakening.
A wider view that supports insight, freedom, and depth in both practice, teaching and our life.
