Description

During the month of November Christina Feldman will offer 4 evenings of group mentoring for experienced students.

The evenings will begin with a sitting period and short reflection on on of the Indriyas – 5 Spiritual power that lead to liberation – Faith, Energy, Mindfulness. Samadhi (collectedness) and Wisdom. This programme is primarily intended to support participants in developing their practice therefore the bulk of the time will be given to receiving peoples questions.

There will be a small peer group to end the evening, an opportunity to reflect together on the Indriya that was introduced at the beginning of the session.

Numbers will be limited to 50 participants.

Teachers:

 

CHRISTINA FELDMAN is a co-founder of Gaia House and a guiding teacher at Insight Meditation Society, Barre, Massachussetts. The author of a number of books, she has been teaching insight meditation retreats internationally since 1976. She is one of the teaching faculty of the CPP programme, dedicated to the study and application of the early teachings of the Buddha and is engaged in teaching the Buddhist psychological foundations of mindfulness to those training to teach mindfulness-based applications in England, Belgium and the Netherlands. Her most recent book Mindfulness: Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Psychology, written with Willem Kuyken, was published in the summer of 2019.
